It might be interesting at some point to look at how all these projects do (or don't) create the calls and rules that become the baseline for participation.  I think you are right in discussing Wikinovela in terms of its aspirations and ideas - in a way, a collaborative authoring project is always going to be about community design - meaning the relevant patterns that determine success and failure may have more in common with ARG design documents than with Tinderbox development documents.</description>
