Calling all chatbot users and makers of chatbots. We have a lot of theories about chatbots, but now we are seeking information on the people who use and make chatbots. If you have ever used or made a chatbot, please fill out a survey to help some on-going research.

The survey will run Aug.8-October 15.

To participate, read the statement below and follow the instructions. They will lead you to an online Questionnaire and a forum. Identities of all participants will remain confidential.

CONSENT STATEMENT

My name is Mark Marino. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Riverside. As part of my research, I am conducting a study regarding the researchers who build and use chatbots.

Your involvement in this project involves discussing your concerns, goals, and interests regarding chatbots on this online discussion board. The time required will all depend on how active you are in posting and reading messages. You will decide.

Please be advised that your participation is voluntary and that you may withdraw at any time or decline to answer any question you choose. We would also like to assure you that your responses will be held strictly confidential. I will contact you for your approval before I publish any writing that includes your comments. Only your screen name will be used to identify you.

Only persons over 18 years of age may participate in this study.
